I'm a Computer Science major at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) with a strong focus on Cybersecurity and Business Analytics.
My academic pursuits extend beyond the classrooms at UTD as I regularly participate in Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges to sharpen my skills and attend additional online lectures and workshops, earning hundreds of micro-credentials and other certifications like the Google Cybersecurity Certificate.
My academic journey has been multidisciplinary but has revolved around being a problem solver. In high school, I was voted "Best Problem Solver" and competed in Academic Decathlon, a scholastic competition testing my knowledge in 10 distinct disciplines. I'm interested in several diverse fields like economics, psychology, cryptography, history, entrepreneurship, game theory, and storytelling. I believe that a multidisciplinary background makes me more capable of tackling complex problems and empathizing with people.
When I'm not tinkering, studying, or hacking, I'm playing chess or planning my next Dungeons & Dragons session. I'm also learning Russian, which has recently caused me to delve into Russian history and culture, and I'm an avid reader. My favorite book is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (original 1818 version, not 1831).
